International Tourism Administration
The goal of applied higher education programme is to deepen general education knowledge of students, to give enough professional and special knowledge, practical skills in Business Administration. Students will gain necessary experience for employment or continuing their education in Master's Degree Programmes. Upon graduation students will be able to apply knowledge and skills creatively for solving typical problems.
Business Administration - this study programme trains students for working on leading and administrative positions in private enterprises, public administrative structures, public organizations; introduces the students different aspects of international business activities, teaches to make efficient decisions.

PROGRAM DESCRIPTION
1 credit corresponds 40 hours (one study week) of studies (lectures,seminars, practical training, independent work) performed by a student throughout their education. The total amount of credits includes mandatory self-study work, which is a core part of the curriculum. In order to achieve the goals of diploma studies the practical training forms 30 per cent of the whole capacity of curriculum - 36 credits. The practical training in academic environment totals 730 academic hours of practical work and exercises. Practical training in working environment comprises 720 academic hours under the

- general academic courses - 27 credits,
- general professional courses - 38 credits, including course paper - 3 credits,
- special courses - 46 credits, including internship - 18 credits, diploma thesis - 8 credits,
- electives - 9 credits.
B) General professional courses give the students professional knowledge, skills and experience for beginning work in the chosen area.
C) Special courses provide future specialists with theoretical knowledge, skills and experience needed for further acting in the chosen area as experts.
D) Electives enable the students to deepen their knowledge in the special disciplines connected with the future area of employment. Diploma study programme is completed with defending the diploma thesis in the student's field of specialization. Diploma thesis shall be in English. Upon graduation, Estonian-American Business Academy awards diploma and diploma supplements both in Estonian and English certifying the fulfilment of the curriculum.
